yes..took first ride yesterday.had to pay 100 rs for a 4.5 km ride after a 100 rs discount.

just now tried to book uberX and it is asking surge of 4.5X making it 35/- per km + 4.5/- per min
it will cost almost 50/- km
Edit – I never used more than 1 free ride of Uber so they are taking money from me for all the free rides they were distributing.

haha, surge is there to attract more driver to that area. Sometimes uber charges surge even when drivers are there. “SOMETIME”. HAHA, go through DD and you will find how ppl trick uber. And you tell uber is fraud?? Uber is giving the cheapest among all taxi companies (ola is almost close).

unfortunately not all people are smart. I am among 95% of general public.
Never able to even get free rides and 50/- per km is totally idiotic.
Please PM the tricks of uber so I will travel from 95% to 5% people.
