You got this from cpuz, if so then the frequency is 1300 MHz, go for any DDR3 ram with the same frequency

Don’t get confused. bro all hdd’s mentioned here are for desktops. Laptops support 2.5’’ hdd’s and I dont think much checking to do about laptop compatibility.

For me showing different RAM freq at diff softs:-

Crucial.com – it is showing in suggestion to buy RAM DDR3 1600.
Piriform Speccy – 2.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 532MHz (7-7-7-20)
Dell’s user Guide – DDR3 1066 MHz

@mkshakya

Go with the Crucial recommendation.
Your laptop may have been originally shipped with 1066Mhz DDR3 memory. Motherboard on your system will automatically under-clock to the frequency it supports. 1600 Mhz DDR3 should work on your system.

To the dimers who are getting confused by the readings in Speccy & CPU Z. CPU-Z reports memory frequency, not memory clock. For DDR3, multiply memory frequency X 2 to get memory clock
