Yes. If you want screen mirroring feature then buy chromecast.

screen mirroring is Available from Laptop, but not on Mobile Screen, still we can cast photos, videos, etc using tewee app on mobile.
And nothing more required of cast screen.
Finally will keep Tewee @999.No Chromecast.

Chromecast has brand appeal for sure but I’ll suggest Teewe over it any day because chromecast is tied far too much with the Google ecosystem. Just the fact that you can stream your local media through Teewe but not chromecast is enough for me to not consider it buying ever. While Teewe also lets you set your own photos as wallpapers, chromecast restricts you to Google photos.
But, Google’s intentions behind it are evil as well. When an app called AllCast became available that lets you stream your own downloaded movies, pictures etc. Google quickly banned it! Why, why would they do that? Because they want you to restrict to YouTube that they monetize through ads and a couple of other companies like NetFlix, HBO who are willing to shell out money for it. They don’t give a F about you.

It was free before.. then Google blacklisted and pulled it off the play store. I don’t know exactly when it was published again but it has gone paid now (the free version will stream for 5 mins only) albeit with support for a whole lot of other devices. There are other ways of streaming for free (network media servers) on chromecast but the point is why should Google put us through all this headache? The original chromecast had support for local streaming out of the box but Google pushed a mandatory firmware update to F it up. That’s not cool!
‘Out of Stock’ flopkart back at its cheapo trick all over again…

go through this thread you will let know,Chromecast doesn’t let stored files to Cast on screen
There are hacks.. like playing a video in a chrome tab and then casting the tab itself but why would you wanna burn your laptop battery to waste, any time you want to watch your own content when there’s a better device available at half the price!
The only thing you can’t do with Teewe is to probably brag to your friends about owning a cool little chromecast. Yeah, two days max; then the novelty will wear off..
ES File Explorer can cast any video using chromecast
Amazon is also giving Rs 500/- gift card back. Using Woohoo 5% off offer we can get it for 2399 – 120(5% Woohoo rewards) – 500(amazon.in GC) = 1779
