Yes, but what i was hinting to is – I make a purchase worth 5000 today, 2000 tomorrow and another 3000 day after. So total purchase is now 10000. The offer period is from 1st Nov till 15th Nov. Will this not be eligible for cashback of 500?

I guess, both of these are two different offers. Card spending can be on anything, unless it is mentioned otherwise, like only applicable on swipe and not on online purchases.
If not mentioned, may be they will consider it.
By the way, do we have to do anything from our side to be eligible for the offer. Like call them, SMS them or something, or all customers are eligible for it by default ?

Confirmed with CC the offer is eligible only to those who send SMS and the cumulative transactions size should be minimun 10k. So u can do 1rs and 9999rs, u r eligible.
Yes it will work. That’s the precise reason they hv come up with this offer. They also know not many wld make purchases jst for the heck of 5% and that too in this short period of 15 days. This additional discount will almost force customers to make impulsive purchases. Some might even stock up on GVs..so yes this will work for sure.
I have also confirmed with the SCB credit card helpdesk that offer is applicable on cumulative multiple transactions totaling Rs. 10,000/- during the offer period. So you need not limit yourself to single transactions more than 10,000.

I have seen people getting a problem for registering with the campaign if they have used their card on Flipkart and availed 10% off.
Hope it is limited only to the spends made on Flipkart and not on all other spends.
