You may have seen some mouse with red light beneath it, and some with nothing. You may also have noticed that the lightless ones work on any surface, while the red ones need a mousepad otherwise the cursor keeps moving erratically.

Not a big deal when you are buying for gaming, or even a desktop or desktop replacement. However, if you’re buying for a laptop and you’re moving around, this might not be the best.

You can’t see the laser beam of a laser mouse unless you are a superman. The light is of LEDs which some devices have to add extra cosmetic attraction. Having said that only optical mouse comes with it’s own light source underneath which is very visible if you lift the mouse but it’s necessary for optical mouse’s functionality.

Keep posting gaming peripherals deals

Look beneath mouse very carefully & start tilting mouse within 15 min you will able to identify very small laser shadow which is very hard to identify, others are blue optical and blue laser (blue lasers) are best same as of blue ray disk drives (less shattering)

But majority part of red laser is infrared which is beyond human eye sight.
