In delhi metro card we can keep max Rs1000 at one time. so if you already have money in your card and you do recharge of Rs1000 . then you cannot get the amount in card untill you card is empty.

but dont worry it will remain in dmrc server for 1 month and if still not used then sent to source with 2.5% deduction.

Also, I suppose we need to go to AVM machine after recharge to get money in the metro card.
