For me at 18249 it was a really great deal..
Note 3 will get 5.1 update
Plus CM rom is also available
and great resale value
However, if you don’t need the pressure sensitive stylus functionality then go for Oneplus One which is the only real competition at this price bracket

More than. However it always depends on people’s perception of what a good phone is, with the plethora of garbage phones floating around the market nowadays, this might not be a good deal for some.

For me, it is an excellent deal. Bought it eleven months ago for 32.5k, and this was the best mobile I have used this far, couldn’t be more happy quite honestly. Only camera is a little poor

I know more than 2 friends using nexus 5 and they never complained about battery life (I know they are heavy users)… so not sure why we have lot of fuss about battery life of nexus 5.
both these phones are great devices in their respective segments. go for the one that suits you the most
