yes they replace. new box has recording available for 3 months

Thanks. I’m waiting for my plans to get over, have two connections of Airtel HD and in office normal stb and planning to change it to Tata sky. It’ll cost me a bomb initially but it seems tata provide some great offers on HD every few months. Nothing like that on Airtel.

Can I sell my HD and normal stbs somewhere?

You cannot sell the sab and dish atleast in case if airtel it is the property of airtel leased to you so they will take it back if you deactivate connection

Lease my arse, you’re wrong. I was using Dish tv when it was first launched in India probably 7-8 years back and the stb, dish etc are still with me even though I havnt used their services in last 5-6 years. No one came to collect anything. There is no lease here, you paid for stb and it’s yours forever even if you use the connection or not.

I’m paying 674 (423+225) per month for 1 tv, second connection is 251 per month. 275 for office connection. Almost 950rs+ PM…man screw me.

Me too using airtel dtv, tried to get this offer as I have no plan of changing it and I shall clear these points when I received call from cc:-
1) its not just 200 rs installation charges= you will have to pay 300 rs for HD box adapter cable as it is not given with standard stb
2) total cost is 500 rs and if in regular we upgrade cost is 599 rs with all accessories + no need to upgrade to economy or above pack costing 399 rs and above
3) useless offer

Airtel will be Airtel with their hidden terms and conditions, I didnt called them as they will call back everyday to disturb u with HD connection. Thank you for calling…be ready to receive spam calls. Karmas.

to clear some doubts….
1.The box cost is just rs.400 and srvice charge is 200 in normal upgrade.
2.through this offer u will save rs.400.(The person charged only rs.200)
3.3 month recording is free. but if u want the remote with recording option its rs.220 extra.
4.Just ask the cc to change it to economy pack. perday cost is rs.16 I think. after they installed.just ask cc to change it to normal pack.

So at the max u will spend rs.200+rs.16.

will the 1 month HD channels be valid after u changed the pack..I am not sure need to check with CC.

You cannot sell the sab and dish atleast in case if airtel it is the property of airtel leased to you so they will take it back if you deactivate connection
