Single Function - Easy To Operate - Very Low Cost Setup - Nice
After using HP F370 All in one (Print / Scan / Copy) printer for last four years I'm looking for a printer which initial setup cost must be low as well the paper in & out mechanism must be straight - And here Canon iP2870 perfectly fit the Bill. Good for low quantity of priniting
Cheapest printer available. Works just fine, takes some time in printing compared to laser printer, but will do your job just fine if you want to print few important documents now and then. No problem found so far after use of one week.

Not recommending this one unless you have a photo studio
Delivery is fast but the actual problem is with the ink. Since INKJET printers are available at reasonable prices but you have to maintain ink bank for regular use. If you maintain that you'll definitely have good but minimum no. of prints.INK bottles are at cost of 1200/-. Think before your purchase.

Good single-function printer
The printer prints very well. I have a Linux system, so I use cups driver, downloaded from Canon site. I also use a native linux package to measure the ink level. The black cartridge that accompanied the printer can't read the ink level, but no issues.
There are four levels of printing in linux, from 1(draft) to 4(max dpi). I use the draft mode, and this is more than enough for my work - mostly documents printing.
I got a good 200 pages from the first black cartridge. Then bought a new one....

A good device
First things first- Flipkart's packing and speed - excellent
The printer is very light weight and of compact (not small) dimension. It looks like built to last although it will definitely turn yellow as is case with white computer products(heat+plastic degradation over time), wish it had a black version.
Print quality is fine and so is the print speed. For the price you pay you get a very good device.
Cartridges are very expensive although they are refillable from local shop for 200 rs or so....
